Gratulations to 10 years LAFC

© LAFC

For 10 years now, the LAFC has been an integral part of the Austrian film industry - a major concern in the first half of the anniversary was sustainable filmmaking, for which the organization with its multiple award-winning EVERGREEN PRISMA - Competence & Information Hub for Green Filming (Link to Evergreen) has started.

For the anniversary, further future-oriented impulses are now being set: In addition to the focus on the training to become a Green Film Consultant Austria, the next one will start on September 26, 2022, the range of topics of the Evergreen Prisma further training program will now be expanded to include creative responsibility.
In the spring of this year, the interest group of Green Film Consultants Austria (VGFCA) was also constituted, which officially represents the concerns of this new activity based on various film professions.

Outside of Austria, the LAFC, with Film Commissioner Dietlind Rott as an expert, is also part of international think tanks and working groups for sustainable filmmaking, such as Green Co/Pro Europe, Green Regio or the Sustainability Study Group of Eurimages, which advocate sustainable filmmaking at international co- use productions.

We and the LAFC team are looking forward to many more green years!
